Due to continued growth, we have a vacancy for a full time Assistant Strata Manager to join our CBD branch. We are looking for a person to work closely with an experienced strata manager to nurture a portfolio of prestigious strata buildings. You will be fully supported by a professional team around you and this could be a great opportunity for you to join the strata industry.

 

Our priority is to provide exceptional customer service to our clients. Professional strata management involves meeting a variety of legislated compliance requirements, and your focus and organisational skills will be important in keeping multiple tasks on track within strict timeframes.

 

You will be responsible for a range of day to day administrative functions, such as:

 

• Assisting the Strata Manager prepare for meetings
• Document filing and research
• Issuing work orders to contractors
• Requesting and following up on quotation requests
• Issuing keys to contractors/owners/residents
• Telephone, email and face to face communications
• Handling levy enquiries and general queries

 

Strata or property industry experience is not essential, but you must be an organised and responsive person.

 

Other qualities and experience we are seeking are:

• Ability to multi task and manage time effectively
• Computer literate and experienced using MS Windows and other software programs
• Demonstrate high accuracy and attention to detail
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong customer service focus and skills
• Capacity to work in a busy environment and adapt to change
• Have an outgoing friendly personality

You will be responsible for a range of day to day administrative functions assisting a team of two Strata Managers. This role will encompass such tasks as: –

 

• Issuing work orders to contractors
• Requesting and following up on quotation requests
• Accounts receivable enquiries
• Issuing keys to contractors/owners/residents
• Telephone, email and face to face communications

 

We are looking for an efficient administrator who will learn fast and be responsive to our clients. Whilst experience in strata or property will be highly regarded, this role could also be a first step for you into the industry. The successful candidate for this role will: –

 

• Be experienced in a customer/client service role which has involved telephone contact
• Be able to multi task and manage their time effectively
• Have sound knowledge of and experience working with Microsoft Office
• Demonstrate high accuracy and attention to detail
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
• Be able to work unsupervised
• Have a professional work style
• Have an outgoing friendly personality that is also capable of dealing with pressure from time to time

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Strata Manager to become an integral member of our New Developments team based in St Leonards. The key focus of the role is to supply proactive strata management solutions for our clients.

 

Daily tasks will include:
• Maintaining a high-profile portfolio of buildings
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients
• Making management decisions relating to the portfolio
• Facilitating meetings and providing advice as required
• Confidently interpreting relevant legislation

 

Skills and experience required:
• Demonstrated experience in the Strata Industry as a Strata Manager
• Strata Management Licence
• Motor vehicle and drivers licence
• Be conversant with interpreting legislation
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Well-developed problem-solving abilities
