Assistant Strata Manager

Due to continued rapid growth, Strata Choice is looking for an outstanding Assistant Strata Manager to provide administrative support to the Strata Manager within our New Developments Team.   This busy department drives the acquisition of new strata business for the company, by building long term relationships with property developers across Sydney.

As an Assistant Strata Manager, you will be responsible for a range of day to day administrative functions.   These functions include issuing work orders to contractors, requesting and following up on quotation requests, accounts receivable enquiries, issuing keys to contractors / owners / residents and assisting our clients via telephone, email or face to face. 

The successful applicant for this role will:

  • Be experienced in a customer/client service role with particular attention to telephone contact
  • Be able to multi task and manage time effectively
  • Have sound knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Demonstrate high accuracy and attention to detail at all times
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Be a strong team player
  • Be able to work unsupervised
  • Have a professional work style
  • Have an outgoing friendly personality that is also capable of dealing with pressure from time to time
  • A Certificate of Registration in strata would be an advantage, but is not essential

Compliance Administrator (Fire Safety)

In 2017, Strata Choice was awarded, for the second year running, Strata Management Business of the Year by the Strata Community Australia. Due to continued growth, we have a vacancy for a Compliance Administrator to join our friendly team in our St Leonards office.

This role requires focus and concentration to achieve flawless reporting and compliance management for our clients around a range of risk and insurance matters. This is an office based role, requiring efficient telephone and email communication skills.  Your ability to multi-task and drive project completion according to strict deadlines, will see you succeed in this position.

Prior experience in the strata or fire protection industry is highly desirable but not essential, as transferable skills gained in other industries will certainly be valued.

You will be working in a team of 6 persons who are responsible for building risk management across a range of issues, this particular role is predominantly focussed on Fire Safety and Pool Compliance. 

Your key duties will include the following:-

  • Liaison with local councils, Fire Brigade and other external services providers
  • Arranging for service providers to attend buildings to complete reporting and audits
  • Management of various types of risk report, to comply with strata and building legislation in NSW
  • Arranging and ensuring recommended actions from all risk reports are taken
  • Continuous improvement of all systems and processes in the risk management department

    The successful applicant will have:-

  • An interest  in risk management and have a keen eye for detail
  • Great organisational skills and a demonstrated capacity to provide excellent customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be a strong team player
  • Must be able to work unsupervised
  • Have a professional work style
  • Have an outgoing friendly personality, someone who is also capable of dealing with pressure from time to time
